Joshua Tree was always on the list. If you're a photographer, you know which list I mean. The 'go-back-there-now-that-you-have-your-dream-camera-and-found-your-voice' list. When the photo workshop Photo Field Trip offered us a chance to head in that direction, we took it. I traveled with my very talented and close photo buddies, Janine, Josh, Mackenzie and Meagan. The Maps app on our iPhones led us into the park through dirt roads, which we stayed on all day. Getting sandy, hiking boulders and getting lost never felt so sweet.
